This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use www.adhdtrainer.co.uk, book or attend our training, or join the ADHD clinicians network. It also explains how we use that information and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
The ADHD Trainer Limited is the controller of your personal information. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16901238.
Registered office: 167 to 169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Email: contact@adhdtrainer.co.uk
2. The information we collect
When you book a course we collect your name, email address, job title and profession. We may also ask for your professional registration, employer and billing details so we can confirm your place and issue invoices or receipts.
When you pay, payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
When you attend we keep a record of your attendance and the certificate we issue to you. Courses run on Microsoft Teams, so Microsoft processes your name, email address and anything you share in the session.
When you join the clinicians network we hold your account details, profile information, group membership and anything you post.
When you contact us we keep your message and our reply.
When you visit the website our host keeps technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
3. Patient and client information
Please do not send us identifiable information about patients, service users or clients. Any case examples you share in training, in the network or by email should be fully anonymised. If identifiable information is sent to us by mistake, we will delete it.
4. How we use your information and our lawful basis
- To take and manage your booking, deliver the course, issue your certificate and run your network account. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
- To answer enquiries, keep training records, verify certificates, improve our courses and keep the website and network secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a professional training business.
- To keep financial and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To send you news about future courses and resources. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making.
5. Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments
- Microsoft, to deliver live courses on Teams and to send email
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and network data
- Professional advisers such as our accountants, where needed
- Regulators, law enforcement or courts, but only where the law requires it
Each of these organisations may only use your information for the service they provide to us.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
7. How long we keep it

Our website uses essential cookies only. These keep the site working, keep you logged in to the clinicians network and remember any cookie choices you make. They don’t need your consent.
We don’t use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other optional cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
